The Manly Camera Club links people who share a passion for photography and our social outings and workshops provide a perfect outlet for like-minded individuals to support each other and exchange ideas and information.
Among the club’s key objectives is the ongoing education of its members and regular excursions provide an opportunity for informal learning opportunities. Being active in the club is certainly a way of continually expanding your understanding of the art of photography and the presentations of your images.

On Monday June 27th 2022 five keen MCC members took to the road on a 5 day North Coast photography excursion. Unfortunately, just before Taree traffic came to a standstill for the next 1.5 hours due to a traffic accident. Hawks Nest Outing – On 14 March, nine club members set out on a very soggy Sunday for a three day shoot at Hawks Nest. Members met at the Hawks Nest Golf Club for lunch to discuss their journeys in torrential rain and talk about their plans for action. Annual Xmas dinner The 2019 Xmas dinner was held in the Encore room of the Manly Leagues Club with 30 members attending and enjoying a convivial night including the celebration of Peg Jones 101st birthday. In late September members travelled to One Mile Beach to photograph various sites around Port Stephens. The group spent most of Saturday travelling around the area scouting out locations. Birubi Beach was the perfect setting with a little cloud cover presenting beautiful light for the shoot.
